TECHNICAL PUBLICATIONS

Prior to his retirement from Public Works Department (JKR) in February 2001, Ir. Ku Mohd. Sani was working with the Bridge Unit. He had acquired vast experience in the field of bridge inspection, assessment and rehabilitation. His experience was garnered through his direct involvement in studies conducted by  the JKR, i.e (i) National Axle Load Study (1986 - 1990), (ii)  JICA Study on the Maintenance and Rehabilitation of Bridges in Malaysia (1990 - 1992), (iii) Pilot Study to Determine the Structural Capacity of Existing Bridges in Peninsular Malaysia (1994 - 1995), (iv) Bridge Managemant Study for Sabah & Sarawak (2004 - 2006), (v) Study of Bridge Capacity on Federal Routes in Sabah, Sarawak & Labuan for Compliance with WRO 2003 (2010 - 2011) and (vi) Study on Vibration of Highway Bridges (2012 - 2013). He had inspected, assessed and rehabilitated many bridges during his tenure in both JKR and private practice.

Mr. Syed Iskandar Bin Syed Ismail joined Evenfit Consult  Sdn. Bhd. in October 2009. He holds a diploma in Business Studies from Universiti Teknologi Mara in 1991 and Master's degree in Human Resource Management from Open University in 2013. Mr. Syed Iskandar started his career with Perbadanan Kraftangan as an Assistant Administrative Officer in 1991 before moving to Zelleco Construction Sdn. Bhd. (a subsidiary of Malaysian Resources Corporation Berhad) in 1994. In 2003, he joined Seloga Engineering Sdn. Bhd. (a subsidiary of Seloga Holdings Berhad) as the Administrative Officer and later to Kawasaki Motors (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. in 2008 holding the same position. In the many years of services in these companies, Mr. Syed Iskandar had gained much experience in the areas of finance, human resource and administration.

Engr. Kenny Chua Kiat Song joined Evenfit Consult Sdn. Bhd. in 2010 after completing his Master of Engineering study  in the UK. In his tenure with the company, he had gained much experience and knowledge in Bridge Inspection, Assessment, Repair, Strengthening and Bridge Testing. He was also involved in the design and supervision of bridge projects and several structural audits of bridge design.

Ir. Dr. Ng See King had worked for Public Work Department Malaysia (JKR) since graduation in 1980 in different capacities ranging from road engineer, bridge engineer in the JKR headquaters, site-investigation engineer in JKR Soil Lab. Dr. Ng See King spent most of his time in JKR with the Bridge Unit and had been responsible for the drafting of JKR Bridge Loading Specification, creation of JKR's in-house computerised Bridge Management System and was involved in many bridge related studies conducted by JKR. He was heading the Bridge Assessment, Inspection and Rehabilitation Section of JKR Bridge Unit before his retirement from the Goverment in February 2001. In his private practice as a consulting engineer, he was involved in the studies such as :- (i) Bridge Managemant Study for Sabah & Sarawak (2004 - 2006), (ii) Study of Bridge Capacity on Federal Routes in Sabah, Sarawak & Labuan for Compliance with WRO 2003 (2010 - 2011) and (iii) Study on Vibration of Highway Bridges (2012 - 2013). Mr. Abdul Malek Bin Abdul Hamid had worked for private and goverment agencies since graduation in 1997 in different areas ranging from clerical, administrative and financial positions. He joined Evenfit Consult Sdn. Bhd. in 2003 and is now responsible for the administration of the company. In his tenure with the company, he had gained much experience and knowledge in contract management and ISO administration.

Engr. Mohd Luqman Hakim is currently engaged with Evenfit Consult Sdn Bhd as a Bridge Engineer for the Penang Second Bridge - Integrated Asset Management System  (AMX) contract. Prior to this appointment, he was working with UEM Construction Sdn Bhd and was involved in two big projects, which are the Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) - Package 8 (2011 until 2013) and Penang Second Bridge (P2B) -Package 2 (2011 until 2013). Engr. Mohd Luqman Hakim has much experience in bridge construction as well as infrastructure and building works.

Ir. Shaharul Bin Hamzah is Evenfit’s Bridge Resident Engineer for the Penang Second Bridge - Integrated Asset Management System project, which entails the inspection and reporting of the Bridge in a seven-year contract with the concessionaire, Jambatan Kedua Sdn. Bhd. (JKSB).


Ir. Shaharul had been involved in many construction projects.  Through the involvement in these projects he has gained many years experience in the supervision work of highways, bridges, ground treatments, retaining structures, highrise building and housing projects. (Which included the mega project of electrified double track project (EDTP) Ipoh to Padang Besar and Ipoh to Rawang).
